We often search for the presence of modern, western scientific principles in the Veda to convince ourselves that the Vedic rishis knew science. This approach can be misguided as the explanations of physical phenomena as explained by modern science can be much shallower that the understanding of the Vedic rishis. Further, the Vedic science focused on both matter and energy, while modern science focuses mainly on matter. A fresh look is needed to bring out the connections between Vedic science and modern, western science.

In this workshop, Prof. PR Mukund provides a fascinating connection between the modern electronic engineering and technology and Vedic science. The examples cover human traits, collective human behavior and communication. Relevant parallels will be drawn between modern electronic technology and Vedic Science.
